T.O to Lake Huron via STI

Returned from week of sun/fun at Lake Huron- very happy how the '06 STI performed. Car was really overloaded with 4 (large)people and luggage-but wow... the power was still there..and handling..and got respectable gas consumption-500+k/tank! AC circulated well, got lots of looks at Goderich boy, overall a great drive for MORE than just two passengers!
btw-does anyone notice when getting into a HOT interior, your rear view mirror kind of wobbles/shakes for a few minutes cause of the heat??
cheers

Was it highway driving or did you have the cruise control on? I have the same car and 500+km on one tank seems to be quite substantial with a full car and the AC on.

91 or 94 octane?

hi- mostly highway, no cruise control -AC on all the way- but what a difference in the city (350kms/tank)

Yea its a world of difference. If you use cruise control you will most likely notice even better fuel consumption!
