Exclamation P0032 Code

Hey guys, seen a few threads on here about the P0032 O2 sensor heater circuit high input code and and no one has posted a remedy, i followed the trouble shooting guide for the code from my manual and it put me into the "replace ECU" step, not a nice one for anyone, so i talked to my local dealer where i know the guys and the techs and they suggested to replace the front O2 sensor..

I have a scangauge code scanner that has optional gauges available on the tool, i noticed after a day or so of the code that my A/F ratio was at a constant 14.6 so after hearing the guys say replace the sensor this all made sense despite the code, so today i replaced the front sensor ( at a hefty price i may add) and it fixed the code and now my light is off and the A/F ratio gauge fluctuates with the throttle response.

So to anyone that has this code replacing the front O2 sensor worked for me and so i hear 9 times out of 10 this will fix the problem.

hope no one has to replace it but if you do have this code i hope this remedy solves your problems.

Sorry to hijack,

What scanguage do you have that displays A/F

Does it use it's own A/F sensor or does it use the existing ones?

Derek its the same as yours if you have the scan gauge II with X gauge, in the manual there is the extra coding for the other gauges, if you go to the site and check your version it will tell you if you can use the X gauge coding or not and also has the codes for the additional gauges. And as far as i know it uses the signal from the front O2 sensor and converts the info into the values for the A/F ratio. On a side note is your site for group a down?

Let me know if you can do this with yours.

Nope... mine is too old. I don't support the X Gauge stuff.

Maybe I should send mine in to get updated...

Can you PM me the procedure to read A/F ?
