Brakes

Also, I will need to replace all 4 brake pads and possibly rotors. My car has
82,000 km. Should I replace them with the original Subaru pads and rotors, or purchase good after market parts such as Raybestos, that line, etc., or
better quality such as Brembo. I plan on keeping the car for a long time.
In a nutshell, I need:

Tires
Wheels
Brake pads
Rotors

Give Chris a call at Touge Tuning. He is a Legacy owner and is well thought of in the Subaru community.

Here is a link to what people have to say about him and his customer service: Touge Tuning - two thumbs up

Hello RedScoobie!

I'm not taking the car on a track, so for now, all-seasons is my choice.
As for the Bridgestone Potenzas, I bought the car second hand and the tires were almost worn out, so I cannot gauge the performance of these tires.

Hi SubieLegacy...

ugh, did a long post and then the server died... I will try to summerize what I wrote...

EBC Green or Hawk HPS. I like both. HPS had slightly better bite but more dust.
Rotors - get the blanks from Philip @ JDMP - 60$+ for both you cannot go wrong. Get both pads and rotors at the same time so you do not have to turn the rotors.

For rims, check with Philip too. he had few really good used legacy rims.

I run snow tires as I have 2 kids. Hankook W300s on my WRX stock 16s.

I have a set of snowflake rims with all seasons rubber. The rubber aint new but they aint bald. Send me a PM if interested and I can send pics. I used these for the summers and switched to winters.

Depends on where you live and drive but I swear winter tires are great.
