From the options you gave, Sunoco 94 and Motul 300V.

... but you'll save money and have great protection with with Amsoil.

You save quite easily. Motul 300V is usually about $34 for 2L if you hunt around. (Maybe the price came down recently, but that's what it was when I was buying it.)

To save money with Amsoil, first you go to an independent dealer, not Canadian Tire, Part Source, etc. The minimum suggested retail on ASL 5W30 PAO Class 4 synthetic is $12.00 Cdn in the catalogue. But the dealers have been getting discounts lately due to the strong Canadian dollar, so I wouldn't think of asking more than $10.68 for it.

Next, as with every business, there's benefits in volume. The 4 x 1 gallon case (16 qts of oil) is $166.43, so you would only pay $10.40 a quart.

Next, you have to factor in the long drain intervals. Amsoil packs their oils with more additives than other manufacturers. I have customers competing all summer in their daily drivers on Premium Protection AMO 10W40, and winning their series and classes, going 14,000km without draining the oil. Oil analysis comes back fantastic... the only reason they change it is to lower the viscosity to 5W30 for winter. So if you add in a Ea 15 Micron 98.7% efficient filter, that's $84.37 for a summer of competition oil. (6 qts for this customer in a 2.0L WRX, including top up oil.)

Don't do competition? Fine. One change of ASL 5W30 or SSO 0W30 per year. If you're nervous about that, change the filter out at six months. Do an oil analysis the first time to make sure that you're comfortable with it.

My customers are saving 5% to 10% on fuel by going to the ASM 0W20 over winter though. So if you drive 500km a week, and get 10L/100km that's an extra $5 in your pocket each winter week... about making up for what you're currently being hit on with winter gas.

The XL series oils are good protection for a much lower price point for people who are forced to change oil out every 6000km due to warranty concerns.

Amsoil the broadest readily available selections of viscosity, grades, additive packages of any company I know of. So I can select a lubrication solution to match the customer's needs.

And, if you're going to be spending $300 or more a year on oil and lubrication products, I'll encourage you to join the Preferred Customer program. For $30 a year, you pay the same wholesale price that I would. If you're an enthusiast like me and enjoy maintaining cars, and talking with other Subaru folk and oil and such, consider becoming a dealer for $45 a year and you can earn commissions as well.

Furthermore, I don't quote any Subaru enthusiast full retail price. I'm one as well and I don't like paying full retail either.

Holy crap...14k km between changes?

I wish I had more of a real clue about these things - I change mine every 5k km. Perhaps I can email you (?) and try to learn a more efficient system. I drive about 3000km+ each month so a more efficient system would be worth some effort to me. You are a dealer - do you ship oil out? I would be more than happy to pay a little extra to have it shipped if I was buying from someone who could give me some reasonable advice.
